Fear & Greed Index
Activate this command by typing /fng
. It measures the market’s emotional temperature.
/fng
Understanding the Fear and Greed Index:
This index gauges the sentiments of investors towards the stock or cryptocurrency markets, indicating whether they’re driven by fear or greed. A high index value suggests a greedy market, possibly overbought, while a low value points to fear, potentially oversold. It’s a psychological barometer that can help predict market movements based on collective investor sentiment.
Bot Response:
Upon command, the bot will provide a message corresponding to the current crypto market’s Fear and Greed status, represented by a percentage and an emoji scale from “Extreme Fear” (0%) to “Extreme Greed” (100%).

Long Short Ratio
The Long/Short Ratio represents the balance between buyers (long positions) and sellers (short positions) in the market. When more traders are buying (going long), the ratio is high. When more are selling (going short), the ratio is low. This ratio helps to understand market trends and trader sentiment, indicating whether the majority of traders are expecting prices to rise or fall.

Open Interest
Beta
Open Interest refers to the total number of active derivatives contracts in the market that haven’t been settled yet. It’s like a count of how many trades are still open and haven’t been closed. A high Open Interest indicates a lot of activity and interest in a particular contract, whereas a low Open Interest suggests less activity. It’s a useful tool to understand market sentiment and potential price movements.
